ABOUT THE SPECIAL SHARES PROGRAM

We are partnering with local upstate New York farms to bring our members a wide variety of organic and all natural products.  Although we refer to this as our "Special Shares" program, it is not a pre-purchased CSA Share.  Instead, you choose what you want to order, how much you order, and how often you order.  Deliveries are available for pick-up every two weeks on Fridays, so you can come pick up your veggies, fruit and extra products all in one stop! 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Orders are placed directly through our partner's website and deliveries will take place twice a month from June through November.  There will also be a few deliveries through the winter, dates to be decided.  There is no minimum order, although a one-time handling fee* of $25 will be due to the farm before you place your first order.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

You pay a $25 annual program fee to us.  If you place an order for every delivery, this works out to just $1.90 (or less) per delivery regardless of how much you order!  Of course, you also pay for the cost of whatever you order.

(*Please note that we must charge a handling fee to cover our transportation, handling, and administrative costs associated with bringing these products out to the East End of Long Island.  We are not making any money on this program, we just want to be able to offer our member community access to excellent quality products currently unavailable in our area.)

MEMBERSHIP IN OUR VEGETABLE CSA PROGRAM IS NOT REQUIRED FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE SPECIAL SHARES ORDERING PROGRAM.
