]]>Spring has sprung!http://www.goldenearthworm.com/field-notes/2009/3/30/spring-has-sprung.htmlFrmgrl2009-03-30T12:17:40ZFields & Crops GreenhouseSpring is finally here at the Golden Earthworm and we're busy getting ready for the upcoming season.  Our greenhouses are already in full swing with thousands of transplants being seeded every day, and a new greenhouse is being built as well.  This new house will be used for both in-ground growing (...delicious greens for the 2010 winter share....) and tables for our transplants.  

Out in the fields, Matthew and James are on top of their game, getting our peas seeded ahead of schedule this year-- thanks to great weather and a little bit of luck!  When touring the fields the other day, I noticed the beautiful garlic coming up.  Here are some recent photos...

It may not look like much, but this monster of a machine can dig and sort a row of potatoes in just a few minutes. Quite spectacular!
